Acupuncturist

NUHS Acupuncturist

Acupuncturists provide acupuncture treatments to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to treat various pain conditions such as neck pain, lower back pain, frozen shoulder, tension headache, migraine and osteoarthritis. It is generally a safe and well-tolerated procedure, and rarely leads to serious side-effects. Besides acupuncture treatment, acupuncturists also provide other treatments such as ear acupuncture, cupping and heat therapy. 

How to become an Acupuncturist?

To practise as an Acupuncturist, you will require these qualifications:

  • Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) or
  • Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
All our acupuncturists are registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB).
