Acupuncturists provide acupuncture treatments to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to treat various pain conditions such as neck pain, lower back pain, frozen shoulder, tension headache, migraine and osteoarthritis. It is generally a safe and well-tolerated procedure, and rarely leads to serious side-effects. Besides acupuncture treatment, acupuncturists also provide other treatments such as ear acupuncture, cupping and heat therapy.
