Family Medicine Residency Programme

NUHS Family Medicine Residency Programme

Objectives

The NUHS Family Medicine Residency Programme started in response to a vision to produce generalists who are equipped with sound clinical judgement, a scholastic attitude and a heart to serve patients and society. Holistic generalist care is needed in our age of subspecialisation so that we minimise fragmentation and ensure that care delivery is well co-ordinated and patient-centric.

The NUHS Residency family comprises the National University Hospital (NUH), Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), Jurong Community Hospital (JCH), National University Polyclinics (NUP), St. Luke's Hospital (SLH), Raffles Medical Group (RMG) and Frontier Healthcare Group.

Rotations

We offer a diverse experience based in an academic hospital, a general hospital, community hospitals, polyclinics and private clinics. Our residents have exposure to a unique public-private mix that spans the breadth of family medicine.
