Biosketch

Dr. Valencia Lim is a Consultant in the Division of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. A graduate of the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (2014), Dr. Lim completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2017 and achieved respiratory specialist accreditation in 2020 and intensive care specialist accreditation in 2023.

​Her primary subspecialty interest is in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). To further hone her expertise, she completed a clinical fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital in the UK, a leading tertiary center renowned for its world-class specialisation in ILD.

​In addition to her clinical commitments, Dr. Lim is a fervent advocate for medical education. She serves as the Associate Programme Director of the Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) Programme, where she plays a crucial role in overseeing and shaping the foundational training of house officers rotating through the NUH Internal Medicine Department. She also holds a clinician educator role at NUS, dedicating time to teach medical students, internal medicine trainees and dental students.
