Biosketch

Dr Grace Chew, a Senior Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), graduated from St George's Medical School, University of London. She joined the Ophthalmology residency programme at National Healthcare Group in 2011, trained in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, served a term as Chief Medical Officer and successfully passed MMED (Ophthalmology) and FAMS (Singapore). After completing her residency programme, she joined NTFGH to further specialise in retina. She trained in the prestigious fellowship programme in Manchester Royal Eye Hospital under the HMDP programme, gaining exposure in a myriad of retinal conditions and surgical procedures. Upon her return, she helmed the vitreoretinal team in NTFGH, expanding the service to offer both routine and emergency retinal procedures, as well as new and innovative treatments for different retinal conditions. She is currently caring for patients with general ophthalmological conditions, including general and complicated cataract cases.
