Biosketch

Dr Krishanthi De Silva is a graduate of University of Kelaniya, which is a leading University in the Western province of Sri Lanka. She completed 6 months of primary training in Anaesthesia and ICU at Colombo North Teaching Hospital in 2014. She also completed MD Anaesthesiology Part 1A in 2017.

She has keen interest in Thoracic Anaesthesia, and has worked in the National Hospital for Respiratory Diseases in Sri Lanka as a Medical Officer in Anaesthesia for more than 8 years. She also has an interest in Airway Management for Safe Patient Care.

She has been working as a Clinical Associate in Anaesthesia in NTFGH since January 2023. She completed Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses In Singapore in June 2023.

Professional Memberships

Dr Krishanthi is a permanent member of the Sri Lanka Medical Council and currently holds a temporary registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
