NUS Faculty of Dentistry offers a four-year undergraduate dental course leading to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. The BDS (Honours) degree is conferred on students with outstanding performances in all their professional examinations.
In addition, the faculty also offers Graduate residency training programmes in six clinical specialties, namely Endodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Paediatric, Periodontology and Prosthodontics. These full-time three-year programmes, which culminate in the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), consist of clinical, didactic and research components.
