NUHS Neurosurgery Residency Programme

Objectives

The goal of the Singapore Integrated Programme (SGIP) for Neurosurgery is to train neurosurgeons with strength in both surgical and academic neurosurgery.

The main training centres for the programme are National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) and National University Hospital (NUH). The National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) is situated at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).

Known to be one of the most technically demanding surgical specialties, our neurosurgical team has been able to consistently achieve excellent clinical outcomes which are of international standards while continuing to participate actively in both extensive research as well as education.
