Biosketch

Dr Wang obtained her medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2012 and gained fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2014. She completed her Master of Medicine (Surgery) in 2017 and received Specialist accreditation for Urology in 2020. She was awarded the Gold medal in the specialist examination in 2020.

During her residency, Dr Wang served as Chief Resident in 2019. She also represented her institution in the Singapore Chief Residency Programme (SCRP) conducted by the Healthcare Leadership College in 2018.

Dr Wang's clinical and research interests are in cancer survivorship and device innovation. She has won several grants for her research work, including the NUHS Junior Pitch for fund in 2014, ExxonMobil-NUS Research Fellowship for Clinicians in 2016 and National University Seed Grant in 2020. For her work, she was awarded the National Outstanding Clinician Scientist Resident Award in 2019. 

Dr Wang is also a dedicated lecturer who is involved in undergraduate, postgraduate and interprofessional education. She is a Surgery Core Faculty member of the NUH National Postgraduate Year 1 Programme.
