Dr Marie Houdmont graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Sciences in 2010. This was followed by completing her medical training at Imperial College London with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2014. She subsequently completed her foundation training in London, United Kingdom before moving to Singapore for further training in 2016. She obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London, United Kingdom) in 2019 and completed Internal Medicine training at the National University Hospital in 2019. During her residency she was appointed as Chief Resident to help organize training of fellow Internal Medicine residents.
She subsequently completed her Cardiology Specialist Training at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) in 2024. She is currently pursuing further subspeciality training in cardiac imaging in particular cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac computer tomography (CT) and cardiac transesophageal echocardiography.
