Dr Lather graduated from the Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, in 2001. He completed his Masters in Medicine (Emergency Medicine) and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (UK), in 2011. He is accredited by the Specialists Accrediation Board (SAB) as a specialist in Emergency Medicine.

Dr Lather has special interests in the fields of Healthcare Quality Improvement, Patient Safety and the science of Acute Trauma Care and Resuscitation.
