Dr Goh Chun Peng is a Consultant Neurosurgeon in the National University Health System.
He obtained his MBBS from the University of Melbourne and was accepted into the neurosurgical residency programme at the National University Health System in 2016. During his residency, he concurrently pursued and completed a Master of Clinical Investigation (MCI) at the National University of Singapore, reflecting his strong commitment to clinical research and academic medicine.
Dr Goh completed his neurosurgical residency training in 2023 and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Surgical Neurology.
His clinical interests include neurovascular surgery, spine surgery including minimally invasive techniques, neuro-oncology and skull base surgery, with particular expertise in endonasal endoscopic surgery for pituitary tumours. He is also actively involved in research, with ongoing work in the application of artificial intelligence and predictive modelling in haemorrhagic stroke and neurosurgical outcomes.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Goh is deeply involved in medical education and mentorship. He has contributed extensively to the teaching of medical students and neurosurgical residents and was awarded the Resident’s Choice Award in 2020 in recognition of his dedication to teaching and mentorship.
