Dr Teoh is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), and Jurong Medical Centre, members of the National University Health System (NUHS). He completed his Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2020. Subsequently, in 2022, he obtained his specialist accreditation in Ophthalmology and became a fellow of both the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, United Kingdom and the Academy of Medicine (Ophthalmology), Singapore.
Dr Teoh's expertise lies primarily in vitreoretinal surgery, femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery, complex cataract surgery, and general ophthalmology. Currently, he is a fellow specialising in vitreoretinal surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Teoh has made significant contributions to the field of ophthalmology through the publication of numerous scientific papers in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals. He is also deeply passionate about clinical education and has been recognised for his teaching efforts with awards such as the Young Teacher Award and NUS Junior Doctor Teaching Award. In recognition of his expertise and dedication, he is appointed as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the prestigious Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS.
