Biosketch

Dr. Tay is a Senior Consultant at National University Hospital, where he completed advanced specialty trainings in rheumatology and clinical immunology-allergy. He also obtained a PhD focused on neutrophils in systemic lupus erythematosus from National University of Singapore (NUS). Following his graduate studies, Dr. Tay completed his post-doctoral research on epigenetics with Prof. Kenneth G. C. Smith at the University of Cambridge. He also completed an observership to train in the management of immune-related adverse events at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Academically, Dr. Tay is an Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS and serves as the Deputy Chair of NUSMed Immunology Translational Research Programme as well as the Clinical Lead of NUS-Cambridge Immune Phenotyping Centre. Clinically, Dr. Tay is the Co-Chair of the chimeric antigen receptor-T cell therapy steering committee in National University Hospital. Dr. Tay is a member of the Section of Clinical Immunologists and Allergists, Chapter of Rheumatologists, College of Physicians and College of Clinician Scientists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. His clinical interests include systemic lupus erythematosus, cellular immunotherapy, adult immunodeficiency and immune-related adverse events.
