Dr Kai Lyn is a consultant in NUH, Department of O&G. She obtained her medical degree and Masters of Medicine (O&G) from National University of Singapore (NUS) and is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists UK, with full specialist accreditation in Singapore. She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) by the Ministry of Health and completed a urogynaecology fellowship at Taiwan's prestigious Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, where she furthered her interests in female pelvic medicine, overactive bladder/urinary incontinence and trained in the latest surgical techniques in pelvic organ prolapse.
Her other interests include minimally invasive surgery for benign gynaecological conditions including uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and endometriosis. As a firm believer in education and research, she devotes her time outside of work to be an NUS clinical teaching faculty, and has regularly presented her work in international medical conferences, contributed to medical textbooks, as well as published in top peer-reviewed journals.
