Biosketch

Dr Chan Hean Peng is currently a Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesia at Ng Teng Fong Hospital. Having obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MbChB) from the University of Auckland, she has since completed her Residency with the National University Health Cluster with the Master of Medicine (MMed) Anaesthesiology conferred by the National University of Singapore (NUS). 

Apart from clinical patient care, she is involved with the training and education of rotating junior doctors, recently being appointed clinical lecturer with NUS. Dr Chan also has a keen interest in environmental sustainability, having initiated recycling efforts within the operating theatres and working on other sustainability efforts at present.
