Dr Eric Fang is a Consultant Radiologist and Clinical Director in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the National University Hospital (NUH). He provides clinical and strategic leadership across diagnostic imaging services, with responsibility for patient safety, quality governance, service transformation, and workforce development within the department.
Dr Fang’s clinical subspecialty interests are in Breast Imaging and Body Imaging.
He graduated from Duke–NUS Medical School and completed his radiology residency training in Singapore, subsequently attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK).
In his leadership roles, Dr Fang focuses on strengthening patient safety systems, embedding quality improvement into daily clinical practice, and driving data-informed service redesign to meet evolving healthcare demands. He is actively involved in departmental and hospital-level initiatives spanning operational efficiency, performance frameworks, and care delivery transformation. He also plays a key role in education, mentorship, and leadership development, contributing to the sustainability and future readiness of the radiology workforce within NUH and NUHS.
