Biosketch

Dr Cheng Yiling is a consultant in the department of Anaesthesia in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH).  She graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with her Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Masters of Medicine in Anaesthesiology (MMed Anaes).

She has an interest in Regional Anaesthesia and has the European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Management (EDRA) as well as fellowship experience in Regional Anaesthesia in Toronto, Canada.  She also has an interest in innovation and has the Professional Diploma in Smart Health Leadership from NUS-ISS.

Dr Cheng is currently involved in the blood transfusion, trauma and hip fracture committees in NTFGH.  She is also a senior clinical lecturer in the department of Anaesthesia, NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.   Besides being involved in undergraduate medical student teaching, she supervises and takes an active role in the education of medical officers and residents.
