Dr Bryan Ng is Head and Senior Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesia at the National University Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore.
His dual subspecialty interests include obstetric anaesthesia, for which he is a member of the NUH Obstetric Risk Management Committee; and perioperative medicine - an emerging field of medicine that focuses on the care a patient may receive before, during and after surgery - for which he has formulated guidelines on perioperative management of various medical conditions.
He believes in patient-centric care and has produced patient information leaflets and videos to help patients and their loved ones make informed decisions regarding their anaesthetic options.
