Dr Meng obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore and has been a fully registered medical practitioner since 2012. He has obtained his postgraduate psychiatry qualification with the Royal College of Psychiatrist (United Kingdom) and is accredited as a specialist by the Specialist Accreditation Board in 2018.
He has worked in the psychiatric departments of various hospitals, including the Institute of Mental Health, National University Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Changi General Hospital and Singapore General Hospital.
He has undergone rotations in psychiatric subspecialty of inpatient psychiatry, consultation and liaison psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychotherapy, forensic psychiatry, community psychiatry, emergency psychiatry and addictions medicine. Apart from clinical work, he also delivers talk to general practitioners and community partners regularly.
