As an Academic Health System, the National University Health System (NUHS) is Singapore's healthcare academic powerhouse consisting of three schools namely, the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS Medicine) which includes the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (ALCNS), NUS Faculty of Dentistry (FOD) and NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH). The NUS Schools train the largest number of medical students and are the only nursing and public health tertiary education institutions in Singapore.
