In support of the nation-wide effort to provide quality, affordable and sustainable healthcare for all Singaporeans, NUHS was the first healthcare cluster to embark on the Value Driven Outcomes (VDO) concept in 2015 to drive value-based healthcare in Singapore. Value-Based Healthcare model advocates optimising the use of available resources to continuously maximise patient health outcomes, using the most cost-effective manner to achieve that outcome.
