NUHS Residency Events
The annual NUHS Residency Retreat provides a valuable platform for the Designated Institutional Official, Programme Directors and Resident Representatives to come together to discuss and explore topics that influence and shape residency training. The theme for this year's retreat is sustainability.
Sustainability in residency training extends beyond environmental responsibility. It encompasses the delivery of high-value patient care, the prudent utilisation of healthcare resources, the promotion of workforce wellbeing, and the development of resilient healthcare systems capable of meeting future challenges.
Through the NUHS Residency Retreat 2026, participants were encouraged to recognise their role as future healthcare leaders and to consider how they can contribute to a more sustainable healthcare system through thoughtful clinical decision-making, innovation, and responsible stewardship of resources.
