Since the first patient was admitted to NUHS@Home in September 2020, hospital-at-home has emerged as a sustainable model of care delivery, advancing home-first healthcare in Singapore, and enabling patients to receive hospital-level treatment in their own homes.
The celebrations included talks by A/Prof Dan Yock Young, Deputy Chief Executive of the National University Health System and CEO of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital, Mr Lim Cher Wee, Executive Director of MOHT, and Dr Norshima Nashi, one of the founding Consultants of NUHS@Home. The event closed with a fireside chat moderated by Dr Jason Phua, Deputy Chief Executive (Clinical Transformation), National University Health System and CEO of Alexandra Hospital.
We were graced by our Guest-of-Honour, Director-General of Health, Professor Kenneth Mak, as we looked ahead to NUHS@Home's 2030 vision and scaling up to 400 beds and beyond.
