The second annual NUHS Community Partners' Engagement Event was held on Saturday, 18 November 2023 at the Auditorium in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. More than 85 community partners came together with 35 of our staff to network and learn about how the launch of Healthier SG had impacted the population landscape.
NUHS Chief Executive Prof Yeoh Khay Guan set the tone for the afternoon in his opening address, touching on the importance of our partnerships as we harness our collective strengths and resources to help Singaporeans live healthier and more purposefully. A/Prof Thomas Loh, Group Chairman, Medical Board, NUHS provided an overview of our cluster's role as the Regional Health Manager of the West, while Ms Joanne Yap, Executive Director, Regional Health System Office (RHSO), NUHS, shared updates on the Regional Health Plan and the road ahead for 2024 and beyond.
Our partners from the TOUCH Reablement Programme, NTUC Health Nursing Home and the NUHS Primary Care Network gave insights into their work and how the partnership with NUHS has impacted the residents in the community.
