Community & Public Outreach
204 volunteers from across the NUHS cluster distributed grocery bags filled with healthy food items to 200 needy families in Boon Lay and Taman Jurong. This activity was part of NUHS’ annual outreach effort – Helping Hands, Moving Hearts – and jointly organised with the Healthcare Services Employee’s Union (HSEU).
Mr Patrick Tay (MP for West Coast GRC & Adviser to the Boon Lay Grassroots Organisation), Mdm Edna Goh [Bintang Bakti Masyarakat (BBM), Taman Jurong Citizen Consultative Committee (CCC) Treasurer and Zone B RC Chairperson], Ms K Thanaletchimi (President, Healthcare Services Employees’ Union) and Professor John Eu-Li Wong (Chief Executive, NUHS) joined our volunteers at the distribution to spread the festive cheer.
