Conferences, Seminars & Workshops
Some 200 healthcare professionals, data scientists and computer engineers from Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Australia and the US gathered at our AI Datathon, which was held from 6-8 July at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. The 20 competing cross-disciplinary teams went through a gruelling 48-hr with hardly any shut-eye, huddled in brainstorming and data crunching to develop new AI tools specifically for healthcare!
This Datathon was part of the inaugural NUS-NUHS-MIT Healthcare AI Datathon & Expo, where the new DISCOVERY AI platform was launched by NUHS. A powerful AI capable of assisting in diagnoses, predicting re-admissions and tracking a patient's disease progression, the deployed platform was part of an exhibit that also included a Virtual Care Centre, Smart Ward, Next Gen Command Centre, and Next Gen Outpatient Clinic.
