Biosketch

Dr Noreen Chan obtained her medical degrees from the University of London and Royal College of Physicians UK, and completed advanced specialty training with the Sydney Institute of Palliative Medicine, Australia. She was Medical Director and CEO of Dover Park Hospice before joining the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), where she is now the Head and Senior Consultant of the Division of Palliative Care and Lead of the Supportive and Palliative Care Group. 

The Division of Palliative Care serves all NUH patients, regardless of age and diagnosis, or whether the patient is receiving active treatment for the illness. Besides cancer, palliative care is also provided to patients with other serious chronic illness such as kidney or heart failure.
