A/Prof Thai is the Associate Professor at the Department of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is Senior Consultant Endocrinologist and Clinical Director, Diabetes Centre, National University Hospital. Her main clinical and research interest is in diabetes mellitus: young onset diabetes, diabetes in pregnancy, islet autoimmunity, insulin delivery systems, glucose monitoring devices and epidemiology. A/Prof Thai serves in several clinical workgroups, advisory, training and accreditation committees with the Ministry of Health, Academy of Medicine and the National Medical Research Council.
