Dr Oon attained a BSc (Hons) in Oral Biology from Queen Mary University of London in 2006 and graduated with a MBBS from Barts & The London, UK in 2007.
He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of the Anaesthetists (FRCA) in 2013 and completed Anaesthetic and Pain Medicine training in London, UK in 2018.
He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of The Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA) and completed a fellowship in Neuromodulation and Interventional Pain Medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, UK in 2020.
He has worked with the international NGO Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) as an anaesthetist in Yemen, Syria and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
He is experienced in spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation and pulsed radiofrequency and other interventional pain management techniques.
