Biosketch

Dr Lisa Wong graduated with MBBS at the University of Sydney, Australia and was trained in Paediatrics at National University Hospital, in Singapore after her move to Singapore in 2010.

Dr Wong is a Member of the College of Paediatrics and Child Health (Academy of Medicine, Singapore) and Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom).

She has a background in mechanical as well as biomedical engineering before coming to her clinical medical career. She has also completed a Masters of Public Health in Hong Kong. She graduated first in her year in both engineering degrees as well as her Masters of Public Health.

She undertook a clerkship in the USA in 2009 as part of a Harvard University clerkship before taking up a Residency position in Singapore.

Since completing residency she has pursued her passion for Children’s Emergency, where she currently works. She has clinical interests in paediatric emergency presentations and particularly in toxicology, child safety and adolescent issues. She is also keen to help to cultivate the training of junior doctors through both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
