Dr Lee Tian Loon is a Consultant practising in the Department of Ophthalmology at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, a member of the National University Health System (NUHS).
He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2010 and underwent ophthalmological training in the residency programme at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he was appointed Chief Resident in 2014. He completed his Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology in 2015 and gained accreditation as a specialist in ophthalmology in 2017. He then went on to be awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of London (FRCOphth) in 2018.
In 2021, Dr Lee completed his oculoplastics and orbital surgery fellowship with the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, before returning to Singapore. He specialises in oculoplastic surgery (droopy eyelid surgery, lower eyelid eyebags, lower eyelid malpositions), lacrimal surgery (management of tearing, nasolacrimal tear duct obstruction, infections) and orbital surgery (thyroid eye disease, orbital fractures, orbital tumours).
He is also well-versed in comprehensive ophthalmology, including complex cataract surgeries, toric and multi-focal intraocular lens implantations, and pterygium excision with conjunctival graft (fibrin glue) and is accredited to perform Femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery.
