Dr Lean Lyn Li is a consultant anaesthesiologist at the Department of Anaesthesia, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.  She has clinical interest in pain management and regional anaesthesia. She completed Anaesthesia basic specialist training in Ireland and completed her Anaesthesia residency in National University Health System as chief resident.

Dr Lean has keen interest in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education from Cardiff University. In addition, she regularly teaches NUS YLLSOM students in both clinical and preclinical years. In AY 2013/2014, she received a NUS Training Enhancement Grant (TEG) for a medical education study on feedback in novice learners.

Dr Lean is currently the NTFGH Department of Anaesthesia representative for the Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists.  She is the assistant lead of research in the department and has an academic interest in systematic reviews and meta-analysis. She frequently teaches research techniques, Evidence Based Medicine and paper critique techniques to medical students and residents.
