Dr Chew Mei Ying obtained her MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 2003, and her MRCP (UK) and MMed (Internal Medicine) in 2007. She received the Certificate of Specialist Accreditation and the Certificate of Specialist Registration, both in 2011, and also completed the Intensive Care Medicine Training (subspecialty) in 2013. Dr Chew joined NUH since 2008 and is currently a Consultant with the Division of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. Besides conducting outpatient specialty clinic sessions, Dr Chew is also competent in performing basic and advanced cardiac life support, intubations, central venous catheter insertions, diagnostic thoracocentesis, chest tube insertions and bronchoscopies.
