NUHS supported Diabetes Singapore to commemorate World Diabetes Day 2019 at an event graced by Senior Minister of State for Law and Health, Mr Edwin Tong. Held at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, participants took part in diabetic eye and foot screenings, exercise and healthy cooking demonstrations, as well as health talks on diabetes management by health professionals.
We're pleased to be making headway in the war on diabetes by empowering patients and equipping healthcare professionals to create a conducive environment and community to promote healthy living and greater awareness on care for diabetes.
