The second Healthcare AI Datathon and Expo 2019 returns today, we were joined by Health Minister Gan Kim Yong and esteemed guests to welcome a new addition to the NUHS family - National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS)! NUCOHS is set to provide the public with better access to comprehensive, multi-disciplinary oral health services in one location.
Singapore's only dental school NUS Faculty of Dentistry will be housed in the new facility which has the infrastructure to support an increase in student intake as well as to train and nurture the next generation of oral healthcare professionals.
The co-location of clinical services, education, and research facilities, in the Centre within National University Health System, will pave the way to champion impactful multi-disciplinary research in oral health. It's a new milestone and we look forward to promoting good oral health to all Singaporeans!
