NUHS staff and Healthcare Services Employees' Union (HSEU) were joined by Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, and Advisor to Jurong GRC Grassroots Organisation, to give grocery bags to 200 young families at Taman Jurong Community Club on 18 January 2020. This was part of an annual event, 'Helping Hands, Moving Hearts', which is part of a larger initiative where NUHS brings preventive care to the community with our partners.
