The 1st National University Spine Institute (NUSI) Public Spine Symposium brought together 14 speakers to share about the spectrum of spine conditions and their available treatment options. The symposium, attended by nearly 300 participants, included a sharing session from members of Scoliosis Support Singapore, screenings and a special forum on traditional chinese medicine as an alternative form of treatment.
The symposium also marked the public launch of NUSI, which provides the full spectrum of care, from pain management to rehabilitation medicine, and the latest in minimally invasive, navigation, robotic spine surgery as well as complex surgical techniques for the treatment of scoliosis, spinal tumours, degenerative spine disorders and spinal trauma.
