House dust mite allergy is very common and it is present in the bed mattresses we use daily. Various kinds of food and environment allergies can be excluded by skin, food elimination and blood tests.
Patients will be counselled comprehensively on allergen identification, avoidance and offered a complete range of testing. If necessary, flexible and rigid scope is done to exclude tumors or infections.
Besides medications, immunotherapy is also available for de-sensitisation. Besides the usual injection form of immunotherapy, an oral sublingual form of immunotherapy is available too. Minimally invasive endoscopic surgery is done for severe persistent sinusitis failing medication and in complex cases, advanced computerised imaging systems are used to improve safety.
