The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) was initiated by A*STAR BMRC in 2006 with the aim of building on the strengths of existing immunology research groups at A*STAR laboratories, universities and research hospitals, as well as expanding and strengthening the immunology research expertise in Singapore. The scientific focus of SIgN is to study Immune-regulation during Infection, Inflammation, Autoimmunity and Cancer. It encompasses the investigation of immunity in the tissues in physiological and pathological conditions.
SIgN is calling for submission of Letter of Intent (LOI) for collaborative research proposals under the theme "Clinical Investigation involving Human Immunology, with a focus on Infection, Inflammation and Autoimmunity". This is to promote bench to bedside translational research in the field of Immunology.
Eligibility
The application should include at least 2 parties, comprising at least one extramural partner ("Extramural Project Coordinator") and at least one SIgN researcher ("SIgN Investigator").
Extramural partner refers to all non-A*STAR public institutions, including restructured hospitals, national centres, research institutes and local universities. Collaboration with clinicians / clinician scientists is encouraged.
