Singapore Anti-Tuberculosis Association CommHealth (SATA) Research Grant

The Singapore Anti-Tuberculosis Association (SATA) was rebranded to SATA CommHealth in April 2009 to reflect the role of the organization as a primary healthcare provider with a focus on lifelong health for the community.

SATA CommHealth exists as a non-profit voluntary welfare organization and continues to play its role as an advocate for the prevention of tuberculosis. They provide affordable healthcare services to the community, especially the disadvantaged, needy and elderly.

By recognizing the importance of research to promote evidence-based medicine in the treatment of tuberculosis and in promoting lifelong health to the community, the SATA CommHealth Research Grant was set up to support research projects with an initial focus on tuberculosis and lung health in Singapore. However for the 2011 grants, it is open to both tuberculosis and health conditions relevant to lifelong health.

Please find the administrative guidelines attached for more information.
