AXA Research Fund Post-Doctoral Fellowships
2011 Call - Second Wave
This programme provides funding of up to €120,000 (~S$240,000) for a period of up to 24 months.

- Research violating national regulations
- Research having direct military use
- Research having potentially dangerous environmental impact
- Biomedical research led without the informed consent of the donor
- Research on embryo stem cells
- Processing of private personal data without the informed consent of the concerned (including genetic information)
- Research activities aiming at human cloning

No restriction on the country in which the Post-Doc research laboratory is located.

The Post-Doc research laboratory must be located in
- One of the member states of the European Union (EU) or

Selection Process
There are two stages to the selection process
Stage 1: NUS shortlists nominees and submits their contact details to AXA
Stage 2: AXA contacts the shortlisted candidates and provides each with a login and password to access to the AXA application platform. Candidates login to the AXA platform to fill in their application and upload the required documents
Note that AXA is now more stringent with their selection process and from this call on, they have added the following selection criteria:
- International mobility
- Limited number of years after PhD (5 years)
Nomination
For each nominee, please submit 2 hardcopies (1 original + 1 copy) and 1 softcopy of the following documents to Ms Sherline Tay or Ms Geetha Baskaran, NUHS Research Office, 11th floor, NUHS Tower Block, 1E Kent Ridge Road in the given order by Thursday, 11 August 2011, 6pm
