The NUS-JSPS Joint Research Projects / Joint Seminars is a collaborative programme between The Japan society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). The JSPS-NUS bilateral exchange programme is aimed at providing support for research and seminars jointly conducted by Japanese and Singaporean researchers in the areas of Natural Science, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Application Criteria
1. For Joint Research projects, it should be jointly conducted by Japanese and Singaporean teams.
2. For Joint Seminars, these should be international ones attended by researchers of both countries to discuss a specific research topic. Researchers from third countries may also participate at their own expense.
3. Singaporean principal researcher must be an academic staff employed at universities or other research institutions managed or designated by NUS.
4. Japanese participants must be full-time researchers employed at universities or other research institutions, or individuals holding a PhD or who are in the last half of their PhD courses.
Schedule of Call and Activities
Frequency: Once a year, ususally in July
