Medcom was set up in 1995 to meet multimedia and presentation needs of the faculty of medicine and we provide a wide range of services that include:

• State-of-the-art plotter for your large poster and title printing
  
• High-performance inkjet, laserjet printers for professional and photographic prints
  
• Wide range of paper quality for your prints or posters
  
• Lamination of any size
  
• Loan of laptop, LCD projector and digital camera for medical faculty staff
  
• Sale of CD-ROM/DVD
  
• DVD/CD duplication
  
• Video conversion  + Video editing. Source can be Video tapes, DV tapes, Digital files and can output to VCD/DVD format.

• Prices are subjected to changes without prior notification.
• A surcharge of 50% is imposed for non Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine users.
• 7% GST will be imposed for External customers.

Our Policy

1. Format your own poster. Turnaround time for poster printing is ONE working day during off-peak seasons.
2. Back-up your files. We shall not be responsible for any lost or corrupted files.
3. Please be informed of the risks of creases developing in the lamination process of your posters. We shall not be responsible for creases that occurred in the lamination process. Charges will be imposed accordingly for reprint request.
4. Printing is on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are allowed.
5. Verify your layout on the A4 proof-print. MedCom shall not be responsible for any unsatisfactory poster after you have proof-read and signed the proof-print.
6. We do not process print jobs until you have confirmed your layout here.
7. Non NUHS users are subjected to a 50% surcharge. Non NUS users are subjected to GST on top of the 50% surcharge.
8. We do not provide delivery service.

1. What file format is acceptable for poster making in Medcom?
   These formats are acceptable in Medcom:
    
   • Microsoft Powerpoint 97 or 2000 or XP *
   • Portable Document Format (PDF)
   • Tagged Image File Format (TIFF)
   • Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)

2. Who can use your facilities?
   Medcom was primarily set up to serve the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore but all are also welcome.
    
3. How long does it take to print?
   Normally we require 1 working day but may take more time depending on the queue.
