Consultation rooms

We have private and well-equipped consultation rooms for doctors to meet trial volunteers / patients at the time of their trial appointments.

 

Pharmacy

We have a pharmacy in the NUHS IMU for storage of trial medication, which is stored at conditions specified by the manufacturer. The facilities available include a lockable medication refrigerator (with temperature monitoring device) and lockable cabinets.

 

Trial rooms

Two-bed rooms, each equipped with bathrooms and TV sets, are available for use when conducting Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials.

 

Blood-processing room

Facilities for immediate processing and storage of biological samples according to trial requirements.

 

Volunteer lounge

A comfortable waiting area for volunteers / patients to relax and have light refreshments while waiting to meet the Investigators, or for repeated blood sampling. Volunteers may also occupy their time with our games and reading materials.

 

Archive facilities

Facilities for the archival of confidential trial information. Each facility is equipped with the appropriate fire extinguishing systems as well as locks and cabinets to ensure a secure storage environment.

 

Telecommunication facilities and computers

The NUHS IMU is well equipped with up-to-date telecommunication facilities. Computer terminals for data management and processing are available for use, subject to prior arrangements.
