A/Prof Lynne Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1992. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Otolaryngology) in 1996. She completed ENT residency training in 2001 in Singapore. Between 2001 and 2003, Lynne did her Paediatric ENT Fellowship at Cincinnati Children Hospital Medical Centre, Ohio; an American ENT Board accredited program. She completed her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, in 2005.

 

A/Prof Lim is Director at the Centre of Hearing Intervention and Language Development, Otolaryngology Department, at the National University Hospital. She consults in both adult and paediatric cases of general ear, nose and throat disorders, snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. In addition, she specialises in complex cases of airway reconstruction for laryngotracheal obstruction, syndromic patients, hypernasal unclear speech.

 

A/Prof Lim pioneered simultaneous bilateral cochlear implants and middle ear implants for hearing loss in Singapore. Dr Lim is Associate Professor at the National University Singapore. She has been an invited speaker to many international and regional lectures, and contributed to peer reviewed journal publications. Her current research grants are focusing on hearing loss and airway research. She is Associate Editor at the Singapore Medical Journal, and Visiting Consultant at Health Service Research Department at National Healthcare Group, Singapore.
