The NUHS faculty is very committed to teaching. I thoroughly enjoy all the workshops and simulations the faculty has taken great effort in organizing and teaching. Clinical exposure is never short, and supervision is constantly present, and I rarely feel out of depth even in the most complex situations. In addition, the department is academic with plenty of scholarly activities. There is never a shortage of ideas and projects for residents to get involved and develop an academic career.” |

I've decided to do obstetrics and gynecology before graduation. O&G is an area that has a lot of mysteries to uncover and a lot of challenging problem to solve. In obstetrics you can experience the excitement of delivery ad share with the parents the joy and excitement of a new life, and yet prenatally there are a lot of challenging problems awaiting us to solve like prenatal diagnosis ,high risk pregnancy, etc. The management of sub fertility is the perfect combination of medicine and the most advanced technology in the world. We can actually see how technologies are changing people's lives. In gynecology , we can learn the most advanced and fascinating surgeries like laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery, deal with the most common problems encountered by women. We are in an area where certain cancer can really be cured or prevented. We are helping women to get through their different phases in life. It's a very fulfilling career. |
