My Internal Medicine residency in Austin Medical Education Programs in Austin, Texas provided me with a unique learning experience after I graduated from medical school at National University of Singapore. When I was wondering when I should be home, I entered another path less traveled and completed my Rheumatology fellowship at University of Alabama at Birmingham. I returned to join NUHS in 2007 with hopes to improve the rheumatology care for our patients and to enhance the internal medicine training in Singapore.
