Dr Jimmy Teo Boon Wee
Dr Jimmy Teo graduated from the National University of Ireland (University College, Cork) and won the Aodan O Donnchada Memorial Prize for the best pediatric project and the P.F. Fitzpatrick Prize in Social and Preventive Medicine. He underwent internal medicine residency training at the University Hospitals of Cleveland (Case Western Reserve University), winning the Norman Gordon Award for being an outstanding medical resident. He subsequently graduated from the Cleveland Clinic Nephrology Fellowship training program, and remained as a Clinical Scholar in Nephrology undertaking clinical research training. Dr Teo is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and nephrology, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, member of the American College of Physicians, and American Society of Transplantation. Dr Teo’s research interests include the epidemiology of acute and chronic kidney failure and glomerular filtration rates.
