A/Prof Tan has a broad scope of experience that spans acute hospital care, community based hospital care and primary care. His passion lies in the integration of care across the diverse settings that patients will traverse in the course of their care.

Post graduate Training
• Completed Masters of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 1999 and became a Fellow of the College in Family Medicine in 2003. Spent one and a half year in clinical geriatric training in Australia culminating in a second Masters of Medicine (Geriatrics) UNSW in 2003.

• Overseas Training Scholarship - 1.5 years community geriatrics training in Melbourne and Sydney
