Dr Arvind Sinha is a nuclear medicine consultant in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at National University Hospital. He received his MBBS degree from Rajendra Medical College, India in 1994. He completed ACGME (American College of Graduate Medical Education) nuclear medicine residency programme from The Christ Hospital, Ohio, USA. From there he also received nuclear medicine postgraduate diploma.
Dr Sinha completed nuclear oncology targeted therapy and PET fellowship from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, Cornell University, New York, USA, 2001-2003.
Dr Sinha passed European Board of Nuclear Medicine in 2005. He also passed nuclear medicine Specialist Training Committee exam of Singapore in the same year. His nuclear medical specialist accreditation was obtained in 2005 from Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB), Singapore.
Dr Sinha has special interest in tumor imaging, targeted therapy and nuclear cardiology. Currently he is working with NMRC funded research project for brain imaging. He is a member of nuclear medicine Specialist Training Committee (STC), Singapore. Dr Sinha actively involved in the Singapore nuclear medicine training programme. He is also involved in the NUH developmental project for nuclear medicine.
